Aw, Sheet, Gurl! These Face Masks From The Face Shop Are Only $2 Each - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Face masks!
Homegirl has a face mask addiction, information technology'southward true.
Especially canvas masks, and not just 'cause they give me an alibi to do my best Friday the 13th Jason Voorhees simulated.
Last weekend after tiffin with my brother in the city, we stopped by Nihon Boondocks to do some shopping and sightseeing, and while I was there I grabbed a few $two face masks from a shop called The Face up Shop.
It'southward a Korean cosmetics shop/brand, and they also sell face and body products. I'd heard of them before but had never visited 1 of their stores.
I spent way to much fourth dimension in that identify, partly because of all the goodies (it'southward not as big as Sephora, but they comport a TON of products), and partly because of the music! The soundtrack they were playing was incredible. It was like a Beyonce CD but, like, in Korean. Amaze-assurance.
Back to the masks…
I don't know what it is about pre-moistened material-type masks, but I love 'em. I got addicted to them after I started using the SK-2 masks a while back, which are FANTASTIC, by the mode, because they get out your skin glowing and hydrated and soft, just they're also unfortunately hella expensive.
I use an SK-Ii mask once, or maybe twice a year, and only before a special occasion or a big event (the concluding fourth dimension was right before the Emmys last fall). The residue of the yr I utilise whatever I can find that looks practiced and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
I'd never tried a mask past The Face Shop before, so I grabbed a bunch of different "flavors" while I was in that location. They were but $ii each.
I ripped open up the Olive Oil Mask, which is supposed to be nourishing for extra dry skin, every bit soon as I got home.
It was a'ight… My skin definitely felt softer and moisturized later on using information technology, but the mask left behind a mucilaginous picture show, and for me that'south a no-go. You lot're not supposed to rinse later using these masks, but I concluded up taking off the mask and rinsing my face to remove the excess goo.
I haven't tried the other masks yet, but I may use i tonight. I'thousand hopeful that the other ones are a little less gooey. They don't have to be amazing…but if they're pretty good, that'll be bully because the price.
There are a bunch of different varieties available at the stores and The Face Shop website, and they're all about $2-5 each. Not bad at all if you're in the mood to effort a new mask, and the thought of $2 sounds good.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty aficionado,
Karen
